Wasn't that a fun?

Everything okay in your neck of the woods? I was thinking about you while I was driving home and listening to Phil and 100.3 FM's weather warnings.

Rain fell in sheets in Blairsville, but no trees down or any damage on my property.

Good heavens, I hope you were wearing your pith helmet...that appeared to be some Extreme Weather. Hopefully BSTommy and Johnny Oh are OK too.

All's good, my thanks to my friend in Brooklyn for the kind wishes....

I was at the folks' house. They lost 5 good sized trees in that wind, and a window in the sunroom.

The big windgust in your video...what had gotten my attention initially at my folks' house was watching the 50 ft cedar tree out in the field whipping at close to a 45 degree angle off the ground....

All's good, though. Hope things are cool at the compound....

LOL - while I'm glad I don't have to worry about house damage during that type of storm too much up here (we have yet to have one anywhere close to that - weather here is not "wild" at all), I do rather miss the storms themselves. I saw the deluge + gust at the end and was hoping you decided to make a run for cover.

... heh!.... thanks, everyone..... yeah, I skedaddled when that last gust came as I was filming..... just back from a quick run to the grocery store - and there are trees down all OVER the place.... including 3/4 of the "Kaboom Tree" that Elisson made famous via his poem......
