My last boss told me that when he came home from Vietnam he stopped off in Chicago for a few nights..stayed in a nice Hotel that had a great bar & restaurant...about midnight a Silk Robe wearing Lee Marvin walked in drunk as a skunk..my boss was still wearing his uniform..he was a Marine (once a Marine always a Marine right)and Lee Marvin walked up to him and grabbed him off the barstool..than he hugged like a bear and kissed him right on the forehead and drank for well over an hour..buying all the drinks no less...when my boss would tell this story (which I heard a hundred times or more) his face would light up and I swear he would almost cry with pure joy.
