... this is the best holiday of the year... hands down.... Christmas is always a bust, and Thanksgiving is all about football.... Halloween, on the other hand, is all about bringing out that inner fiend youngster we all keep locked up... well... present company excepted, of course... you rubberneckers are ALL ABOUT getting in touch with your inner child... I mean, that IS why you are here, right?
... oh, and for all of you people who said I should be clad in silk pajamas and smoking jacket... bite me.... I am wearing the black tux, and that is that... maybe I won't be Hef after all... instead, I will simply be a Gentleman who is being tended to by his Bunnies... after all, that is what it is all about... right?....
... and before I forget... the Ladies are opting for formal-yet-sexy evening dress... accented by pink bunny ears, black bowties, and fluffy white targets tails... so, there you have it... tomorrow is the big day... we be set, children... they'll be carrying a pitcher of stirred martinis... on a silver platter... for most of the day... life is good...
... with all that said, I feel the need to mention, just in passing, the sight which I beheld upon entering my humble home this evening.... The Wife... holding, as is her evening custom, my freshly poured Scotch..... she was also wearing my black Stetson.. a red dot firmly planted between her eyes, and a silk Sari.... great bloody Hell... what IS this outfit!??!.... after further inquiry, I was informed that she intends to dress as a Cowboy AND an Indian tomorrow.... Lord, help us... she's got some wires crossed, methinks....
... Halloween, children... it is for ALL of us... enjoy it while you can...
